For Startups

IT and security for startups — before it becomes the thing that blocks a deal.

Intragreat provides co-managed IT and security consulting for startups from seed to Series C. We handle Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, and email security, and help you answer enterprise security questionnaires — so a founder or a single IT hire isn’t carrying it alone.

The Story We See

Nobody owns IT, so it lands on a founder or the most technical person around. Microsoft 365 gets set up in an afternoon. Laptops ship from Amazon. Then growth hits: a dozen new hires in a quarter, your first enterprise prospect, an investor asking about data protection — and suddenly the improvised setup is a liability. You don’t need a full IT department yet. You need someone senior to make it right and keep it right.

FAQ

Startup IT questions.

When should a startup hire its first IT person?

Usually somewhere around 15–50 people. Below that, a consultant to set Microsoft 365, identity, and endpoints up correctly — plus light co-management — is typically the better spend than a full-time hire. When you do hire, co-managed IT is how you keep that one person from being overwhelmed on day one.

Can you help us pass an enterprise customer’s security questionnaire?

Yes — it’s one of the most common reasons startups reach out. We map the questions to your real controls, help you answer honestly, and close the gaps behind weak answers first, so a deal doesn’t stall on security. Most of what’s asked is Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint, and email configuration, which is exactly our focus.

We’re pre-Series A with about 15 people — are we too small?

No. That’s often the ideal time, because getting identity, endpoints, and email set up right early is far cheaper than unwinding a mess later. We scale the work to your stage rather than imposing enterprise overhead.

Do you work with remote-first startups?

Yes. Remote-first companies are a core part of who we work with — we deliver remotely inside your tenant and set up zero-touch laptop provisioning so new hires anywhere get managed, encrypted devices. On-site is available in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Reno when it helps.

Can you help with investor or acquisition due diligence?

Yes. The security and IT questions in investor operational due diligence overlap heavily with customer questionnaires — MFA, access reviews, device management, backups, incident response. We put those controls in place and organize the evidence so diligence is quick rather than a scramble.
